This circuit can be used in artificial intelligence projects by equipping robots capable of making decisions based on light levels on sensors. The circuit provides outputs for two motors that depend on the lighting levels of the two sensors (LDRs). The circuit operates in such a way that we can have the following situations: one motor driven, another motor driven, the two motors driven. The circuit is nothing more than a window comparator where references are given by the four input resistors. Changes in these resistors allow to change the intelligent behavior of the circuit according to the application. Other types of resistive sensors can be used in place of LDRs. The supply voltage must be between 6 and 12 V and for the indicated transistors the motors can have up to 500 mA.
