An excellent 7-channel sequential system was obtained in a 1981 documentation, which is shown in the figure. The base of this circuit is a counter with the integrated circuit 4017 which is piloted by an oscillator with unijunction transistor and a trip stage with the integrated 4093. The integrated circuit 4017 directly activates 7 SCRs of type 106 each one being able in the network of 110 V supply 440 W of light bulbs and in the 220 V network, double. Of course, these SCRs must be mounted on good heat sinks. The operating frequency of the circuit is basically determined by the circuit of C1 with P1 and R1. The use of a high value capacitor allows to obtain lower frequencies.
