This circuit was found in a 1992 publication. It has a different effect on a sequence of LEDs. The circuit is based on CMOS technology with easily obtainable components in our market. The circuit can be powered by voltages from 6 to 9 V. The speed of the effect is adjusted in the potentiometer.
