This traditional dimmer configuration with SCRs, but with full wave control was found in a 1988 documentation. The circuit makes use of two TIC106 SCRs for 4 amps, which must be equipped with good heat sinks. The circuit works in both the 110 V and 220 V mains with a change in the capacitors to reach the full power range.
