This circuit is from 2001 documentation. The idea is to activate a flashing lamp on the outside of a taxi in the event of a robbery, which serves to warn people outside without a possible mugger inside the car noticing. The circuit is powered by the 12 V available in the car and the activation switch is hidden near the driver.
