The audio amplifier integrated circuit used in this 1990 project is not very common today. However, it can be fitted with more modern amplifiers like the TDA7052 or even LM386. The coil has 4 turns of 26 or 28 threads in the form of 1 cm without core and for VHF 2 or 3 turns of the same thread can be used.
