The integrated circuit used in this circuit is not very common, but an equivalent one can be tried. The diodes can also be 1N34 and the voltmeter can be a common multimeter on a low voltage scale. The operational feed must be symmetrical. C depends on the frequency of the signals, with 100 nF being suggested for audio signals.
