With this circuit the visually impaired can easily locate important places inside the house, such as: bed, living room, bathroom, etc. This is possible thanks to the characteristic of straight propagation of infrared rays that leads to its use in a directional way. Thus, we have a transmitter (figure 1) that will be held by the user, and a receiver (figure 2) that emits an audible signal when it is located by the transmitter. Thus, a receiver is installed in each location that must be located and P3 is adjusted to produce different identification tones. Based on sounds, the disabled can easily locate and identify the locations marked with the detectors.
