This circuit matches a high impedance input signal with a low impedance output. This circuit is intended to audio applications, where the amplifier has a low impedance input and the transducer is a high impedance type. Equivalent to 2N22222 as the BC549 (low noise) can be used. In the simulation the function generator applies a 1 kHz sine signal to the circuit. Observe the adjustments for the oscilloscope and function generator.
