This circuit was obtained from a 1962 magazine. It can still be mounted to be powered from 6 V circuit, using a relay for this voltage and replacing the original transistors with the BC558. The sensor may be a photocell obtained from a disused calculator. The trimpot adjusts the sensitivity.
