This is a shunt circuit to be used on a multimeter, expanding its scales to measure high currents. To know the new full scale, use the 1.5 V voltage scale and divide it by 1.5 for the approximate full scale. The resistors must be of good dissipation wire for the higher currents and the measurement accuracy depends on these components.
