This circuit was obtained from an English magazine from 1979, but can be easily assembled nowadays, as all components are common. Q1 can be a BC558 and Q2 a BC548. The circuit was originally designed to time a car rear window heater, but can be used for other purposes. The circuit will also operate at 6 V using appropriate relay.
