The purpose of this circuit found in a 1994 documentation is to drive a 24 V motor. The circuit can be adapted for other types of motors. Output transistors shall be fitted with heat sinks. The circuit has the advantage of having the brake feature that occurs when the transistor in parallel with the motor drives. The circuit also acts as a shield.
