This Phase-Shift Oscillator produces sine low frequency signals suitable for many applications. It can be used in instrumentation, musical instruments, sirens, etc. The signal must be applied to a drive stage if you want them reproduced by a loudspeaker. Equivalent transistors can be used and the capacitors in the phase-shift network can be changed to other frequencies generation. This circuit also can be simulated in the MultiSIM Blue. Figure bellows shows the waveshape for the produced signal. Observe the oscillloscope adjustments for correct display of the signal.

 


 

 

For the components in the simulation frequency is about 127 Hz. Using 22 nF capacitors, the new frequency is 250 Hz.
