This circuit, obtained from a 1989 publication, can control motors up to 1.5 A. With the LM350 this current reaches 3 A. The integrated circuit must be equipped with a heat radiator. The input voltage depends on the motor and can be between 9 and 18 V. The diode can be 1N4002 or 1N4004. The control is of the linear type.
