The circuit shown is from an old publication, from the 70s, but can be assembled with TIC106 SCRs and with 2N2646 unijunction transistors. This circuit causes lamps to flash according to a special effect that is given by the frequency of the unijunction transistors. The lamps can be of currents up to 1 A and the supply voltage is 12 V or slightly more to compensate for the 2 V drop in the SCRs.
