This circuit activates a relay at the end of the time delay. The indicated relay is of the low current type (up to 50 mA). If larger current relays are used, we recommend an amplification step. The circuit achieves times of a few minutes with C1 of 100 uF, but this component can be increased to 1,500 uF for times of the order of half an hour. The circuit is from a 2000 Poptronics.
