March 2017 - This new component of Vishay has a 16-bit resolution that allows it to be used in a very wide range of applications. In an 8 x 3 x 1.8 mm surface mount housing it integrates IR emitter modules and Light, which combined form a proximity sensor.
The new component operates with voltages from 2.5 to 3.6 V and has an I2C bus output. Among its applications we highlight presence detection, anti-collision system in robots and toys, vehicle occupancy detector and automatic taps.
