The circuit shown in figure 6 provides a TTL logic signal at its output, when the LM3911 transducer reaches a certain temperature, determined by adjusting the 47k ohms trimpot. The National Semiconductor LM301 operational amplifier must be powered by a 5 V source, while the 12 V voltage sensor circuit. This application is suggested by National Semiconductor that manufactures the integrated used as a temperature sensor.
