This CMOS version of the force gauge was found in a 1983 publication. In the CMOS version, the integrated CD4049 is used, which consists of 6 inverters of one input, as shown in the diagram. Each inverter directly excites an LED indicator that has a current limiting resistor in series. The reader suggests the following scale for the device:

Led1 = banana

Led2 = weak

Led3 = good

Led4 = medium

Led5 = strong

Led6 = superman

The supply is made with a voltage of 9 V of a common battery. The electrodes are two metal bars, connected to the device by means of pieces of flexible wire.
