This circuit was obtained in a technical documentation from 1997. In the event of a power failure, it shuts down the powered system, so that when it returns to power it is not powered. This prevents outbreaks that occur when power is restored from damaging the powered device. The relay is 6 V with contacts according to the load current that must be protected.
