This optical switch was found in an old Texas Instruments opto-electronics manual. The relay is according to the power that can be between 9 and 12 V. Instead of the lamp, LEDs with resistors in series can be used in the emitting source. The phototransistor admits equivalents and the transistors can be the BC548.
