This circuit is from European documentation from the 1980s. The circuit consists of an R-S flip-flop with an LM139 voltage comparator. The 239 and 339 of the same series can be used and the source must be 5 to 12 V which makes it compatible with TTL logic and capable of functioning as a shield for microcontrollers.
