This circuit detects the small variation in the car battery voltage that occurs when the door is opened, and the courtesy lights come on. Of course, this feature must be activated for the alarm to work and in the case of low-power LEDs, the setting is more critical. The circuit is from European documentation from the 90s. The transistors can be BC547 or BC548.
