This circuit found in a 1988 documentation consists of a timer or sequential timer controller. The circuit was originally used in a simple industrial automation system. At the end of the process, which may have its time chosen by the 4017 outputs, a relay is triggered. The circuit has a double time delay, as can be observed and its supply depends on the relay voltage used.
