The presented circuit can excite small piezoelectric transducers or ceramic buzzers. These high-impedance transducer can be used in alarms, toys, etc. The frequency of the signal depends on C1 and C2. These capacitors can be changed. The circuit can operate in the range from 100 Hz to 5 kHz. Find the frequency for best performance according the transducer. Figure bellow shows the simulation in the MultiSIM. Observe the oscilloscope adjustments for the display of the signal.
The circuit can be powered from 3 to 12 V suppltes and the transistors can be replaced by equivalent.
