Texas Instruments INA183 Current Sense Amplifier is a high-precision voltage-output, current-shunt monitor (also called current-sense amplifier). These are commonly used for overcurrent protection, a precision-current measurement for system optimization, or in closed-loop feedback circuits. This device can sense drops across shunt resistors at common-mode voltages from 2.7V to 26V. Three fixed gains are available: 50V/V, 100V/V, and 200V/V. The low offset of the zero-drift architecture enables current sensing with maximum drops across the shunt as low as 10mV full-scale. This Texas Instruments INA183 operates by drawing power from the IN+ pin, drawing a maximum of 130µA of supply current. All versions are specified from –40°C to 125°C and come in the 5-pin SOT-23 package.
